Pardon my Indulgence

The "About Me" page on my profile gives you a little bit of information "she is a travel agent, loves to go on cruises, married, children..." however there are a few things left out and one of them is my healthy obsession with the now ended series and in my opinion and many others, the best ever television show "LOST" aka "Los Perdidos"
Now after looking at the photos below you might think that my obsession was really with the gorgeous and sexy men of LOST, but honestly (fingers crossed) I was in it for the writing and character building, oh and of course for those very sexy and gorgeous men of LOST so to those reading my blog I say ladies and gents, please do pardon my indulgence, and of course please enjoy!

McFoxy of  "LOST" fame aka Matthew Fox & McSteamy from "Grey's Anatomy aka Eric Dane, along with Cate Blanchett and Kevin Spacey (below) were among the many stars last May that participated in the Portofino photo shoot for IWC (a Swiss high-end watch manufacturer.)

And now for the Pièce de Résistance and my favorite character in the show  Sawyer "James Ford"
Mr. Dimples himself Josh Holloway; 1st photo in December at the Children' s Defense Fund California event; not sure what photo shoot was for the gorgeous dimple in a hat photo so if you know please let us know...The next photo set is from the filming set of "MI4" back in October, I can not wait to see him on the big screen, and finally man in a white suite...

Bedroom Redo Classic, Romantic, Glamorous

I have been dreaming of redoing my bedroom for the last 7 yrs. it really needs some help it is stuck in the 1990's with light peach walls & carpeting the heavy bulky furniture, it screams makeover, and since I do not seem to win any of the home makeover contest I keep entering, I guess it is up to me...
I am looking for the prefect pieces to create  a Romantic & Glamorous BoudoirI have finally settled down on the colors of my walls thanks to my daughter who spent some time with me during the holidays so it is going to be either a light or dark gray.  Now comes the fun part finding the missing pieces, headboard, chaise, end table, floor (dark hardwood, carpeting) and drapes oh and of course the bedding.  One thing I know I will have problems with is that ugly fan that is right above my bed, it seems that here in So. Florida you have to have a fan in each room, and although my husband has already said that I could get rid of it, I know that we will regret it as we are so use to it, so any ideas does anyone know if they make some pretty chandelier type lights for fans? In the meantime I am in love with a little of each one of these inspirations below, but especially this first one, I just love that nice crisp white linens.

The Iconic 1920's Cloche

{Source - Behida Dolic}

The IT  hat of the 1920's, the Cloche was first used to describe a hat with a deep, bell shaped crown, it came to designate all the streamlined, tight-fitted hats that emerged in the early part of the 1920's and beyond.  The Cloche was worn low & straight on the forehead, almost covering the eyebrows.  The very controversial "Bob Hairstyle," with it's chin length blunt cut was the perfect hairstyle for this tight fitting hat.

 The Cloche was worn throughout the year by both young and older woman, in the winter months the wool cloche would be combined with a Classic wool coat, and in the summer months the cloche would be made of either real or synthetic straw in many different colors I found the gorgeous replicas while looking for Vintage wear on Etsy these exqusite cloche are the product of Behida Dolic Most of her hats are one-of-a-kind and hand draped.  Enjoy!
