Spring has Sprung!

  

Okay so to be honest Spring came a long time ago here in South Florida, or maybe it never left, with temperatures in the 80F it feels more like summer, but there is still something to be said about the renewed sense of Spirit that we all feel around this time of year, ever heard of Spring Cleaning, or how about Spring Forward, and of course many refer to Spring as a time for "Renewal, Rebirth, and Regrowth..." 

Now by now you are probably wondering what does a photo of a briefcase with some green grass,  a lovely picnic lunch and scenery has to do with Spring, Well I say that this is our version of Spring but really, I thought this was the most fantastic, fabulous, Spring forward :) idea I have ever seen - found the DIY over at Design Sponge where the very talented Paige Russell of Paige + Modern was guest blogging.   Try it out be a part of the other 3 R's "Recycle, Reuse, Reduce!"

Call me an old Romantic, but this short film not only made me shed a tear or two (this was a good thing) but the music tugged at my heart strings...I so love these colors, and Michelle Phan you are such a romantic, and what a fun way to learn on the proper way to apply lipstick!

The results are in and here are the top three in the Style Resolution contest, taking top honors fellow Polyvorian, scottgirl, she is a mom first and artist second, you can view some of her works at Shades of Lite; her style resolution is more texture and color in 2012!

In second place all the way from Italy, although she is Spanish a Polyvore member for the last year is curry77, visit her blog Un poquito de Curry, she is an online shopper who loves vintage and modern fashion, her style resolution in 2012 is Hippy Chic, I have a feeling, she will wear it well...

and finally in third place is itgirl2010 a make-up artist from the US, who has combined fatigues with florals making it fashion gold!

2012 Fashion Resolutions Contest!

Can you believe it is already 2012, where does the time go?  This year I have many fashion resolutions, but high among them is my desire to incorporate more color to my very dark and grey wardrobe, not that I think there is anything wrong with wearing lots of black and grey, however a little color could possibly make the day brighter.  How about you what is your New Years Fashion Resolution, come on over to my group Vacation Fashion at  Polyvore and join in on the contest!
