Tradition Transformed

{Source - Fashion Copious}
Talbots, Traditional Classic wear for the mature woman, or is it?  The new ad campaign, shot by Mert and Marcus, will be out this March, featuring Julianne Moore. With some chic pieces that could very easily find it's way into any woman's wardrobe be it young or young at heart.  One of my favorite bloggers & a fellow Polyvorian
chicGiselle from Machine Wash Warm
saw the possibilities when she put together her "People's Choice" set for the Polyvore and  Red Chair Confessions - Talbot Blog contest, she took a traditional riding jacket paired it with some lovely boots and a wool skirt, added a YSL clutch and a Rag and Bone floppy brim Fedora to come up with the wining combination .  First Lady Michelle Obama as been known to wear Talbots on more than one occasion. Talbots has set out to make some much needed changes &  I believe they could be on their way, "Tradition Transformed."  expect the unexpected...

  2. I've noticed that Talbots...like Ann Taylor...has seriously overhauled its look. For the better! I hadn't heard about this campaign, so thanks for sharing!

  4. This ad is beautiful...sometimes Talbots can be such a bore but this definitely got my attention. And the clothes, of course, are very cute!
